Carribbean Cleaner Shrimp [Lysmata wurdemanni]
Description
Divers often spot this small cleaner shrimp working the “cleaning stations” on reefs, where it picks at parasites and dead tissue from passing fish. It’s usually visible in crevices or on the substrate near its favorite clients, then quickly darts out when a fish approaches.
