Campanularia retroflexa [Campanularia retroflexa]
Description
Campanularia retroflexa forms colonies with branches that can curve or bend in a distinctive way, creating a slightly “reaching” look. Divers may see the small polyps arranged along the stems, giving the colony a delicate, textured surface. As currents shift, the polyps may extend, making the colony’s structure stand out against the rock or algae.
