Campanularia pygmaea [Campanularia pygmaea]
Description
This hydroid is typically tiny and easy to overlook, but divers with a close look may find it forming fine, branching growth on hard surfaces. The polyps sit in small, bell-like structures along the branches, often appearing more noticeable when they extend. In calm water, colonies can look almost like miniature coral lace.
