Campanularia pumila [Campanularia pumila]
Description
Campanularia pumila is a small, twiggy hydroid colony that often blends in with the surrounding substrate. Under good light, its slender stems and neat rows of miniature bell-shaped polyps become visible, especially in sheltered areas where currents bring food. It’s a great example of how even “small stuff” can create intricate underwater detail.
