Boring Clam [Tridacna crocea]
Description
As its name suggests, the Boring Clam is famous for living in or on hard surfaces where it can create a snug home. Divers commonly see its shell opening and colorful mantle in sheltered spots, where it can look like a small, well-camouflaged window into the reef.
