Bareye Hermit [Dardanus fucosus]
Description
Divers may spot this hermit crab scuttling along the seafloor, often tucked into a borrowed shell. Its “bare eye” look—where the eye area appears less covered than in many other hermits—can make it stand out when it peeks out to survey its surroundings.
