Azure Sea Star [Linckia laevigata]
Description
With its striking blue “star” arms, the Azure Sea Star is a common sight on reef flats and rocky bottoms. Divers often see it slowly moving along the substrate, sometimes gripping firmly to the seafloor while it searches for food.
