Ancylomenes magnificus [Ancylomenes magnificus]
Description
Ancylomenes magnificus is a tiny cleaner shrimp that divers may encounter around host animals, especially where cleaning activity is common. When conditions are right, it can be seen hovering near its “customers,” ready to pick at parasites or debris. Even though it’s small, its frequent movements and close association with reef life make it a rewarding sight for patient divers.
