Aglaophenia holubi [Aglaophenia holubi]

Description

Divers may encounter this hydroid as a compact to moderately branched colony anchored to hard surfaces. Its fine, tree-like form and small polyp tips create a detailed texture that’s easy to overlook at first glance—until you get close enough to see the living “points” along the branches.
