Aglaophenia harpago [Aglaophenia harpago]
Description
Aglaophenia harpago grows as a branching hydroid colony that can look like a miniature underwater brush or clawed lace. Underwater, it’s most noticeable when you see the colony’s structure clearly against darker rock, and when water flow makes the branches sway gently.
