Aglaophenia difficilis [Aglaophenia difficilis]
Description
Aglaophenia difficilis typically appears as a branching hydroid colony anchored to hard substrates. Divers may see a network of fine stems with small polyps that can be more noticeable when the colony is actively feeding. Because it’s often small and textured, it rewards careful observation along walls and overhangs.
