Aetobatus flagellum [Aetobatus flagellum]

Aetobatus flagellum
Description

This eagle ray often glides smoothly just above the seafloor, using broad wing-like fins to cruise through the water column. Divers may notice it sweeping its body as it searches for prey, sometimes pausing briefly before continuing on—an elegant, calm presence that’s easy to track once you spot it.
