Magnificent Feather Duster [Sabellastarte magnifica]

Description
The Magnificent Feather Duster, also known as the Fan Worm, is a large, tube-dwelling worm. It has a crown of radioles, which are often banded with white and brown, used for respiration and to catch food particles from the water. The worm is often red, orange, or pink in color. It lives in a tube that it constructs from mucus and sediment particles. When threatened, it can retract rapidly into its tube. It is commonly found in the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean, particularly in reef environments.
