Description
Black Thorn Coral is a species of hydrozoan in the family Milleporidae. They are found in the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. They have a dark, almost black color. They have a thick, robust, and encrusting form with vertical, plate-like branches. These corals are known for their painful sting if touched.
