Costasiella pallida [Costasiella pallida]
Description
As the name suggests, this nudibranch often appears pale and can blend remarkably well with sandy or light-colored surfaces. Divers who take time to examine the smallest details may find it resting or slowly moving along the bottom. It’s a great example of how even “plain-looking” reef life can be fascinating up close.
