Elysia zemi [Elysia zemi]
Description
Elysia zemi is a sacoglossan sea slug with a flattened, leaf-like form that makes it easy to mistake for a fragment of algae. Divers searching rocky areas with abundant growth may find it tucked onto algal patches, where it can remain still for long stretches. When it moves, it does so slowly, giving you time to appreciate its unusual body shape.
