Elysia trisinuata [Elysia trisinuata]
Description
Elysia trisinuata is a small, leaf-like slug with a distinctive wavy or notched edge that gives it a “three-sinuate” look. Divers may notice it perched on or near algae, where it stays relatively still while grazing. Because it can blend with the surrounding growth, spotting one often takes a careful scan of the substrate.
