Elysia marcusi [Elysia marcusi]
Description
Elysia marcusi is a delicate, leaf-shaped sacoglossan that tends to blend into the algae it calls home. When divers find the right patch of growth, they may see it gently “cling and creep,” its body posture making it look almost like part of the vegetation. Its small size and cryptic appearance are part of the thrill of spotting it.
