Elysia kushimotoensis [Elysia kushimotoensis]
Description
Divers may encounter this sacoglossan as a flattened, leaf-shaped slug resting on algae. It can be surprisingly well-camouflaged, especially when the surrounding growth is similarly colored and textured. If you spot one, watch for gentle crawling and feeding behavior along the algal surface.
