Elysia expansa [Elysia expansa]
Description
Elysia expansa is a leaf-like sea slug that can look almost like a tiny piece of algae or a flattened leaf on the seafloor. Divers may notice it on rocky or algal habitats where it rests in a relaxed, spread-out posture. If you watch closely, you can see subtle movements as it feeds and adjusts its position.
