Elysia coodgeensis [Elysia coodgeensis]
Description
Elysia coodgeensis is a small, leaf-like slug that can be surprisingly easy to miss when it’s tucked against algae and rock. Underwater, it may appear as a delicate, flattened form with a subtle greenish tone that matches its surroundings. When it moves, the body can look like a tiny piece of seaweed drifting rather than an animal.
