Elysia abei [Elysia abei]
Description
Elysia abei is a small sea slug that divers can sometimes find on algae-covered surfaces, where it blends in with the background. Its most fascinating feature is its ability to incorporate food-derived chloroplasts, so it may appear tinted and “plant-like” compared to other nudibranchs.
