Yellow Guard Crab [Trapezia lutea]
Description
As its name suggests, this guard crab often shows a yellowish coloration that can make it easier to spot on the coral it calls home. Divers may see it positioned along coral branches, staying close to the shelter it provides and the protection it offers. With a watchful demeanor, it’s a rewarding find for divers who enjoy observing small reef interactions up close.
