Brown Guard Crab [Trapezia digitalis]
Description
Brown Guard Crabs are small, sturdy crabs that divers often spot tucked into the branches of coral, where they act like vigilant bodyguards. They’re most noticeable when they quickly retreat into the coral’s shelter at the slightest disturbance, then reappear to patrol their territory.
