Banded Wobbegong [Orectolobus ornatus]
Description
The Banded Wobbegong is a striking sight, with bold banding and mottled patterns that make it look like part of the reef. Divers often find it tucked along rocky bottoms or under ledges, where it stays motionless and ambushes passing fish. If you approach carefully, you may see its mouth and barbels subtly move as it detects activity.
