Orectolobus halei [Orectolobus halei]
Description
This carpet shark is a master of camouflage, typically appearing like a patch of reef or sand until you get close. Divers might see it resting on the bottom with its body patterned to match the surroundings, then slowly moving its head as it investigates the water around it.
