Vanellus cleaner shrimp [Periclimenes vanellus]
Description
Divers may encounter this shrimp in reef areas where it uses crevices and coral structure for protection. It’s usually small and unobtrusive at first glance, but with a closer look you can see it actively repositioning and foraging along the reef surface.
