Ancylomenes kobayashii [Ancylomenes kobayashii]
Description
Divers may spot this small snapping shrimp tucked into crevices on rocky or coral rubble bottoms. It often appears as a quick flash of movement near its shelter, retreating at the first sign of disturbance. In good visibility, you can sometimes see it perched close to the entrance, ready to dart back inside.
