Ancylomenes adularans [Ancylomenes adularans]
Description
Divers sometimes encounter this small cleaner shrimp in association with sea anemones or other sheltered habitats. It’s often visible when it emerges to forage or to pick at tiny particles on nearby surfaces. Watch for quick retreats into the safety of the host as your bubbles drift closer.
