Redbacked Cleaner Shrimp [Lysmata grabhami]
Description
Divers often spot this cleaner shrimp perched on rocks or rubble, waving its antennae as it checks for passing fish. When a client fish approaches, the shrimp performs quick cleaning bouts—removing parasites and dead tissue—while staying alert to bigger predators.
