Holthuis' Hermit Crab [Dardanus holthuisi]
Description
This hermit crab is often found in areas with plenty of shells and hiding spots, where it can blend into the seafloor’s texture. Divers may notice it as a quick, purposeful movement—then a sudden retreat—when it senses a change in the water or nearby activity.
