Chinese Spiny Lobster [Panulirus stimpsoni]
Description
The Chinese Spiny Lobster is a hardy, reef-associated lobster that divers often encounter close to rocky habitats and shelter-rich bottoms. If you’re lucky, you’ll see it out and about—moving deliberately along the substrate—before it slips back into a crack when approached.
