Brazilian Lobster [Panulirus laevicauda]
Description
This lobster is a classic reef-and-rock crevice resident, typically seen hovering near shelter or slowly moving along the seafloor. With its spiny armor and long antennae, it can look surprisingly “alert” even when it’s staying put, and divers may notice it retreating into cover when approached.
