Marine Crayfish [Panulirus versicolor]
Description
Marine crayfish are commonly seen near rocky bottoms and reef edges, where they tuck into holes and burrows. With a careful eye, divers can watch them forage along the substrate, moving with a deliberate, stealthy pace. Their mottled coloration helps them blend in with the reef, so they’re often easiest to spot when they shift position.
