Banded Coral Shrimp [Stenopus hispidus]
Description
This striking shrimp is easy to recognize by its bold banding and long, waving antennae. Divers often see it perched on coral rubble or reef crevices, where it uses its antennae to scan for food and sometimes “signals” with a distinctive, alert posture.
