Freckled Carpet Shark [Hemiscyllium freycineti]
Description
Freckled carpet sharks look like miniature reef carpets—low to the bottom and beautifully patterned. Divers commonly see them hovering just above the substrate or peering from rocky crevices, where they hunt small invertebrates with a calm, curious demeanor.
