Pteraster texius [Pteraster texius]

Description

Divers may spot this starfish clinging to rocky or reef surfaces, often blending in with the surrounding substrate. Its arms spread outward in a sturdy, star-like silhouette, and it tends to be most noticeable when it’s in shallow crevices or on textured rock where light catches its surface.
