Astrostole rodolphi [Astrostole rodolphi]
Description
Rodolphi’s Astrostole is often found on rocky substrates, where it can look like part of the habitat rather than a distinct animal. Divers may see it anchored in place, with arms splayed in a way that helps it stay stable. In good visibility, its distinctive form becomes easier to appreciate as you pass overhead or from the side.
