Aglaophenia galatheae [Aglaophenia galatheae]
Description
This species forms slender, branching colonies that can resemble fine filigree on the seafloor. Divers may notice it in sheltered areas where it catches the current, with the small polyps subtly adding to the colony’s “sparkly” look as they extend and retract.
