Aglaophenia curvidens [Aglaophenia curvidens]

Description

This hydroid grows as an intricate, curved-branching colony that can blend into the surrounding reef or attach to hard surfaces. Divers may notice it as a subtle, textured “net” of branches where the polyps extend and retract, giving the colony a faintly animated look.
