Doubletoothed Hydroid [Obelia bidentata]
Description
Divers often spot this hydroid as delicate, branching colonies that can look like tiny lace or miniature shrubs attached to rocks, pilings, or seaweed. Its feeding polyps extend from the branches, and you may notice small, rhythmic movements as the colony captures passing plankton.
