Campanularia erythraea [Campanularia erythraea]
Description
This hydroid forms fine, upright colonies that can resemble miniature sea-fans or delicate twigs. Underwater, divers often notice the repeating pattern of its polyps, which give the colony a textured, “beaded” look on rocks and submerged structures.
