Red Sea organ pipe coral [Tubipora chamissonis]
Description
Divers often notice this coral as a branching, organ-pipe structure with bright red to reddish-brown tubes. When you look closely, the individual tubes form a maze-like pattern that can sway gently with the surge. It’s a striking “living sculpture” that adds bold color to rocky or reef slopes.
