White Horny Coral [Eunicella singularis]

White Horny Coral
Description

Divers often spot this coral as delicate, branching “horns” that rise from the seabed like pale antlers. Its feathery polyps can look almost velvety in the current, and the colony’s white to cream tones stand out beautifully against darker rock. With patience, you may also notice the polyps subtly swaying as they feed.
