Eunicella hendersoni [Eunicella hendersoni]
Description
Divers often spot this species as a branching, fan-like gorgonian that forms delicate, fingered shapes on rocky bottoms. In clear water, its pale to creamy tones can stand out against darker rock, and the polyps give it a subtly textured look. With gentle currents, the colony can sway slightly, creating a living, underwater “forest” effect.
