Eunephthya shirleyae [Eunephthya shirleyae]
Description
Eunephthya shirleyae is a soft coral that divers may encounter as a delicate, branching or tufted colony with many tiny polyps. In the right light, the colony can look airy and intricate, with fine structures that stand out against rock or sand. Divers often find it most noticeable when the current gently moves the polyps, creating a subtle shimmer.
