Eunephthya granulata [Eunephthya granulata]

Description

This species can look like a compact, textured soft-coral patch, with numerous small polyps giving it a granular or bumpy surface. Divers may notice it blending into rocky habitats, then revealing itself as a living, polyp-covered mound when viewed closely. It’s a rewarding subject for underwater photography due to its fine detail and soft, natural color tones.
