Double-star Coral [Diploastrea heliopora]
Description
Double-star Coral gets its name from the star-like pattern formed by its corallites, which can resemble two overlapping star shapes. Divers often find it in reef crevices or on sloping reef surfaces, where the contrast between the star patterns and the surrounding tissue makes it stand out.
