Cylinder Anemone [Cerianthus membranaceus]
Description
Divers often spot this cylinder anemone as a soft, tube-like home anchored in sandy or muddy bottoms. When conditions are right, it extends feathery tentacles from the opening, creating a delicate “underwater fountain” effect that sways with the current.
