Cerianthus malakhovi [Cerianthus malakhovi]
Description
This species lives within a tube in soft sediments, making it a classic “hidden in the sand” encounter for divers. When it extends, the tentacles create a striking, feathery display at the surface of the substrate, then withdraw to the tube when conditions change.
